Job Summary
The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, operational performance, and organizational data to identify opportunities for improvement, increase efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop insights, streamline workflows, and implement solutions that drive business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze operational data and business metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards.
Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Support strategic planning initiatives through research, forecasting, and analysis.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and identify operational solutions.
Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and root cause investigations.
Assist in the implementation and management of operational projects and process improvements.
Prepare presentations and recommendations for management teams.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning activities as needed.
Document business processes, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in business analysis, operations, process improvement, or a related role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Power Bi or other data analysis tools.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Project management experience or certification.
Experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS or workforce management platforms.
