We lead a global supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas and different business units. Following the Supply Strategy, we combine leading with lowest cost, design for responsiveness and to rethink resources into tactical and operational plans.
Category Area Electronics & Home Accessories is the home of 9 Categories with products mainly found in the market hall and the kitchen department. Utilizing many different materials, the Supply chain is quite complex and differentiated with co-workers present in all our Supply Areas.
In Business Navigation we lead and develop business performance management capabilities, as a close partner to the business stakeholders. Beside the foundation of a navigation assignment, we together with our business stakeholders proactively plan for the best outcome and do continuous follow-up of the strategic agenda.
We are now looking for a new Business Navigator to join our exciting journey in the enablement of Supply Strategy.
In the role you will report to Tobias Christensen, Business Navigation Manager.
Job Description
As Business Navigator you will lead and develop financial and business performance management framework for CA Electronics & Home Accessories and the translation of business plans into goals, steering towards a balanced totality. As well as secure relevant performance reporting and follow-up, lead fact-based decision making and actively work to increase the overall business performance understanding. With great energy you will lead the project and development portfolio steering as well as project management, where you will support to identify potentials and risks in and around the business.
Together with other Business Navigation colleagues you will lead and contribute to assignment/projects in a global context.
In your role you will also
- Be responsible for communication financial and business results, insights, recommendations and goal achievement in a clear and inspiring way, making business analysis available and actionable
- Facilitate business development and innovation by being an active partner in planning and follow-up
- Be Front line business support. You will drive the organisation to lead in efficient ways with consistency
- Contribute to the development of working methods, tools and sharing best practices within the Matrix
- Take responsibility for ensuring digital tools and business solutions in the business unit and for identification and escalation of tool development and improvement needs
- Co-lead organizational development and resource planning and forecasting in the business unit
Qualifications
We are looking for a person that is curious, open minded and is naturally building strong partnerships across functions, keeping the IKEA values with you at all times. You have a holistic view and is good at translating long-term priorities into defined business objectives and together with others, get things done! There is a strong analytical skillset together with a business understanding. You have an easy way of communicating and the ability to translate complex matters into something understandable and inspirational for others.
We highly value entrepreneurial spirit and mindset, encouraging team members to think outside the box, propose innovative solutions, and drive initiatives that can lead to business growth and efficiency improvements.
You have knowledge and experience within the following areas:
- A university degree in finance or similar
- Experience from Business Navigation or strong business understanding
- Experience in leading and developing business and people in large international organizations
- High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel, as well as experience from using Business Intelligence tools
- You are fluent in written and verbal English.
