Foster’s & Co. is a professional gathering space created for small business owners, entrepreneurs, traveling professionals, and teams to work, meet, connect, and grow. We offer shared workspace, private meeting spaces, coffee, beer and wine, memberships, and business and networking events.

We are looking for a Community & Hospitality Associate to help create an exceptional experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This person will be the face of Foster’s during their shift—welcoming guests, serving beverages, answering questions about the space, and helping customers take advantage of our memberships, meeting spaces, and events.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Prepare and serve coffee, beer, wine, and other beverages.
• Answer questions about Foster’s memberships, workspace options, events, and business resources.
• Assist customers with booking the conference room, executive office, and other meeting or event spaces.
• Help prepare for and support networking events, workshops, private meetings, and special events.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment throughout the space.
• Build relationships with members and regular guests and help connect them with appropriate resources or people within the Foster’s community.
• Assist with administrative, marketing, event, or small-business projects based on individual skills and interests.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is personable, dependable, professional, and naturally enjoys connecting with people. Hospitality or customer service experience is helpful, but we are equally interested in candidates who are eager to learn and have skills or interests that could benefit a small-business community.

This could be an excellent opportunity for a college student or recent graduate studying business, marketing, communications, finance, accounting, technology, graphic design, event management, or a related field.

A major part of Foster’s mission is connecting people and creating resources for small businesses. We want our associates to benefit from that community as well.

In addition to their regular responsibilities, associates will have opportunities to interact with local business owners and professionals, attend networking and educational events, and gain exposure to how businesses operate.

As we get to know each associate's individual strengths, there may also be opportunities to connect them with Foster’s members who need assistance with small projects, administrative support, marketing, social media, technology, design, research, or other business needs.

For a student or someone early in their career, the goal is to provide a place where you can work, build real-world experience, develop professional relationships, and demonstrate your skills.
