The Role

The BVI Business Manager will be an experienced, dependable, and responsible support to the Senior Management of Trident Trust Company (BVI) Ltd. The person will focus on overall excellence of the local organization to ensure clients’ needs and expectations are met and exceeded. The Business Manager will be required to demonstrate leadership across a wide range of key areas such as training, customer service, conflict resolution, communication, business efficiency, data analysis, report creation, and production of management information.


Responsibilities

  • Production office communication, oversight, and reporting with a view to increasing production office and regional alignment improving efficiency and reducing client complaints.
  • Assist with resolution of Companies Registry filing impasses escalated locally by Team Managers.
  • Complete IT testing for business needs in ViewPoint and all programs.
  • Document procedures and guides to procedures as they are created to improve efficiency.
  • Review and engage with business areas identified. 
  • Assist the COO with local and regional processes, procedures, and clear communication.
  • Work with Managers and Team Leaders to oversee and ensure productivity.
  • Assist with training in Business and Corporate Services.
  • Evaluate training records to ensure they are kept up to date.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
  • Assist with and lead projects as identified;
  • Work with local vendors and suppliers as requested.

In addition to the above essential duties and responsibilities, this role includes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of local financial services industry, ViewPoint, and business management experience at mid-level.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in a corporate setting.
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with ability to promote a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize with an aptitude for planning and forward thinking.
  • Self-motivation and proven leadership skills.
  • Positive attitude and outlook.
  • Passion for organization and excellence.

Compensation

An attractive compensation package is available and will be based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience and overall suitability for the position.
