The role will be focused on driving the achievement of the Linac/Software business line budget for the ASEAN business cluster inclusive of direct and indirect markets.

The role plays a key customer facing function through direct sales, supporting territory managers and channel partners / distributors by providing expert technical & clinical sales support to drive project advancement and management of competitive information and handle projects / product related issues in the ASEAN BU.

Working in close collaboration with the territory sales managers, regional marketing team / business line management and local business partners to achieve the order budgets for the Linac/Software business line for the cluster.

The role will also be the voice-of-sales for the ASEAN region for the Linac/Software business line and will act as a conduit to align objectives, strategies and deployment of in and outbound / analog & digital campaigns that will help drive awareness, funnel development, branding, customer satisfaction and business growth for both installed base business and new customer acquisition for the Linac/Software BL for the ASEAN cluster.

The role will also be in charge of driving sales enablement activities through sales training, development and deployment of sales tools as well as developing customer solutions that improve customer net promoter score and aids sales in winning new business.

The role will also be in charge of supporting customer development and customer success initiatives by driving activities such as reference sites, KOL development and other customer development activities as required.

Responsibilities -
  • Identify sales opportunities into existing customer sites and into to new sites in close collaboration with the local sales teams
  • Implement given actions to achieve the sales goals defined by the commercial lead of each project
  • Support the sales team with in-depth product expertise
  • Take an active role in Linac projects, answering questions, tenders and providing expert support such as product demos and expert presentations to local sales team, channel partners and customers whenever needed
  • Consult and provide solutions how to best create demand and suitable delivery path-ways to advance Linac/Software opportunities and keep customer sites up-to-date with upgrades and up-selling
  • Develop, implement and track regional sales and marketing plans for Linac/Software portfolio by driving specific programs & campaigns and respectively supporting country-specific sales activities and programs
  • Develop sales tools and provide expert product and sales training to the account managers and channel partners
  • To provide support and advice for configuration of offering to customers
  • To implement regional sales and marketing plans for Elekta Linac & software solutions by driving specific programs, respectively coordinating and supporting country-specific sales activities and programs
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships within Singapore and ASEAN territory
  • To attend and represent Elekta at conferences, symposiums, shows and other events as required
  • Develop, implement, maintain and follow Quality procedures as they pertain to company policy
  • Drive efficiency programs identified by self or others within Elekta
  • Incorporate Elekta Values into all departmental functions and responsibilities
  • Promote continuous improvement and be a change agent
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies -
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Radiation therapy or business related) with minimum 5 years Radiotherapy industry related experience
  • Successful sales and negotiation experience. Capital medical equipment sales experience is highly meritorious
  • Solid knowledge and experience of the medical devices industry, experience in Radiotherapy clinical environment is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Skilled speaker and representative in social contacts
  • Strong multi-tasker and experience covering a broader region (along with all the travel it requires)
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer tools / IT skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent team player at all levels and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge/understanding of Elekta's product portfolio
  • Demonstrated strong business comprehension and acumen
  • Strong in building and maintaining customer focus and customer relationships
  • Results oriented, operative with excellent analytical skills
  • Strong ethical standards, values and good judgement
  • Persistent, enduring and prepared to make strong personal commitments
