We’re looking for a Business Intelligence & Optimization Analyst in Raleigh, NC to join us in fulfilling our mission, while utilizing our values of excellence, improvement, and connection. In this role, you will provide analytical support to enterprise-wide areas through effective use of Business Intelligence, Data Modernization and Process Automation. You’ll organize and lead projects from inception to implementation while managing a day-to-day consulting relationship with internal partners.

Enact Headquarters, Raleigh, NC – Hybrid Schedule

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with business leaders across multiple functions to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.

  • Lead end-to-end business intelligence initiatives from requirements gathering through executive-ready reporting and insight delivery.

  • Develop and enhance dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Sigma) to provide clear visibility into performance, market trends, competitive dynamics, and KPIs.

  • Translate data into concise, compelling narratives tailored for leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Analyze internal and external data to assess market share, customer segmentation, product mix and usage metrics, marketing campaign efficacy, competitive positioning, and pricing impact.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data, metrics, and analytic methodologies.

  • Contribute to automation and optimization of recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Collaborate with IT, Data Enablement & Data Governance teams to enhance data infrastructure, strengthen stewardship practices, and support a scalable BI environment.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Business, or related disciplines

  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or business support functions

  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable insights

  • Proven experience designing and delivering executive-ready dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau and/or Sigma

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working in cloud-based data environments (e.g., Snowflake, AWS)

  • Demonstrated ability to work with both structured and unstructured data to develop meaningful analysis and recommendations

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Proactive continuous improvement mindset with an eye for optimization and automation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mortgage or Insurance industry experience

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or related field)

  • Demonstrated experience building scalable data marts, data models, or reporting layers in partnership with IT or Data Engineering teams

  • Familiarity with data governance principles, data stewardship practices, and enterprise data management frameworks

  • Experience preparing and delivering operating reviews or executive-level presentations to senior leadership
