Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive source of truth across multiple payment partners and payment methods, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Develop standardized data collection and reporting frameworks for payment partnership performance metrics
- Create automated dashboards to track key payment metrics including conversion rates, processing costs, transaction volumes, and partner performance
- Lead the development of a comprehensive Request for Information (RFI) process with payment partners to establish industry baselines in payment processing and costs
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking studies to identify optimization opportunities across our payment ecosystem
- Support contract negotiations by providing data-driven insights on partner performance and market rates
- Join a dynamic team working closely with sales, product and data engineers
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, Legal, and Business Development teams to support payment-related initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and external payment partners
Requirements:
- Undergraduate or Master's student of Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a quantitative subject such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, or related fields
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and manipulation
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Good understanding of statistical modeling and analytical techniques
- Familiarity with database management and data warehousing concepts
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking aptitude
- Understanding of financial services, payments, or fintech industry is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to present to various stakeholder levels
- Collaborative, curious and team-oriented mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Available for internship from September 2025 to December 2025
