We currently have a vacancy for a Business Intelligence Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site
Your tasks
- Collect business requirements and develop data mining solutions;
- Identify, collect, convert, analyze and update different data types/sets;
- Produces data models according to specific problems statements;
- Creation of scalable dashboards and reports, in particular using Power BI, to support business objectives and enable data-driven decision making;
- Write the different documentation associated with the tasks and liaise with other project teams as necessary to address cross-project interdependencies;
- Scripting and programming;
- Liaise with the Digital Strategy & IT solutions unit in order to ensure the application of the organization’s IT standards to all data mining, BI activities and possible AI ones (e.g.: technologies / tools to be used, deployment procedures, cybersecurity measures etc.).
- Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Strong experience with management and analysis of survey data;
- Strong experience with econometric analysis and modelling;
- Strong experience with Data Visualization;
- Strong experience in the use of at least one of the following scripting languages / software: R, Stata;
- Strong experience in data visualization and ability to communicate messages through visuals;
- Excellent knowledge of Data Analytics techniques, including econometric and modelling techniques, and related tools;
- Good knowledge in database management;
- Good knowledge in the use of one of the following business intelligence tools would be considered as an asset: KNIME, APACHE SUPERSET, Microsoft Power BI;
- Knowledge of Python would be considered as an asset;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Synapse would be considered as an asset;
- Excellent command of the English, any other EU Language would be an asset.
