We are seeking a hard-working and motivated BI Engineer II to join our Long-Term Planning team to support strategic decision-making and ensure operational success.
As a Business Intelligence Engineer II, you will be responsible for delivering in-depth analysis of large and complex datasets, developing tools to support business decision-making, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve fulfillment and service strategies. This role will play a critical part in evaluating network design, budget planning, and cost-speed trade-offs for different customer segments.

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Transportation teams to provide data-driven insights for optimizing network design, including topology and capacity planning.
- Conduct analyses on key performance indicators that impact intra-year and yearly budget planning.
- Develop network design heuristics to evaluate cost and speed trade-offs for various customer segments.
- Collaborate with other BIEs and Data Scientists on complex projects to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Write clean and efficient code to address customer inquiries and business needs.
- Communicate with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from several data sources using SQL and multiple technological platforms
- Ensure high standards for data quality and reporting to provide accurate and actionable insights.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field!
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization is required.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in forecasting and supply chain analytics.
- Strong solid grasp of SQL and demonstrable ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries
- Solid experience working with data, analyzing results, and developing new processes to improve efficiency.
- Ability to tailor analytics products to meet the needs of end customers using tools ranging from Excel to Tableau.
- Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.
- Ability to find opportunities, provide innovative solutions, and drive decision-making.
- Good communication skills to convey complex insights in a clear and concise manner.
Bonus (if applicable):
- Masters in Analytics or MBA!
- Experience in the supply chain industry
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Advanced technical skills in Python for automation and data processing.
- Data modeling experience in Retail or E-commerce environments.
