The Business Intelligence Development Manager leads the Poland-based Business Intelligence development team and is responsible for delivering scalable, high-quality analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
This role combines technical leadership, people management, and delivery oversight to ensure successful execution of the BI roadmap while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence. The BI Development Manager partners closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, analytics leaders, and technology teams to deliver trusted reporting solutions and advance the organization's data maturity.

Job Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and develop a team of Business Intelligence Developers located in Poland.  

  • Manage team capacity, priorities, and delivery of BI initiatives and operational support activities.  

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of reporting, dashboarding, and analytics solutions.  

  • Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.  

  • Establish and promote BI development standards, data governance practices, and quality assurance processes.  

  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, and adoption of emerging analytics technologies. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.  

  • 5+ years of experience delivering Business Intelligence, analytics, or reporting solutions.  

  • 2+ years of people leadership experience managing technical teams.  

  • Experience working with modern BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, or similar reporting technologies.  

  • Experience with SQL and data warehouse environments.  

  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions.  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience managing distributed or global teams.  

  • Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery models.  

  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, or modern cloud data platforms.  

  • Familiarity with data governance practices and metadata management solutions.  

  • Experience leading BI platform migrations or modernization initiatives.  

  • Experience leveraging AI-powered analytics and development tools.  

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics environments.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

203 000 and 305 000PLN

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
