What you’ll doIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in developing and supporting EPM applications. This includes defining metadata (accounts, entities, scenarios, custom dimensions, currency, etc.), consolidation methods, member lists, journals, data forms, and intercompany transactions. It also involves rules development (expressions, functions, variables, sub-procedures, conditional/consolidation/elimination rules, string comparisons, subcubes, etc.).
Experience implementing Oracle Cloud EPM Technologies such as Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), Financial Close & Consolidation (FCCS), Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), and Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS).
Understand how assigned applications and systems integrate with other programs/processes and the overall system architecture. Provide recommendations on how to improve existing or proposed processes.
Provide end-user support for on-premise modules like Hyperion Essbase, Planning, HFM, DRM, ARM, and SmartView, as well as EPM SaaS products.
Support the monthly application maintenance process and participate in the feasibility analysis for new systems or applications.
Monitor the operating efficiency of existing application systems and provide (or arrange for) proactive maintenance.
Review, analyze, and modify applications, including coding, testing, configuring, and debugging for Hyperion applications. Maintain records to document the system and its revisions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Information Systems/Technology, Industrial or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of experience in software design and development using Java, Python, and JavaScript.
2+ years of database experience with DDL (Data Definition Language), DML (Data Manipulation Language), and performance tuning.
2+ years of experience with OBIEE, Oracle EBS Source Tables, Tableau, Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Databases, Data Warehousing, GitHub, and/or OTBI.
Operating Systems (OS): Experience with Linux and Windows Server.
Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS, Linux Servers, Networking, and Database Administration.
Familiar with IT Security practices.
