We are seeking an organized, detail‑oriented Business Intelligence Developer to provide advanced oversight, optimization, and strategic maintenance and reporting from the agency’s electronic health record (EHR) system with primary responsibility for data analytics, reporting infrastructure, and business intelligence initiatives. Design, develop, and maintain multi-page dashboards and reporting systems to support quality assurance, compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. Support complex EHR configuration, reporting architecture, and cross-departmental data initiatives.

This role aids in our understanding of business practices by developing robust reports in power BI from our EMR, (Credible) as well as integrating data from other platforms in our tech stack including Microix, Rippling, Relias, etc.

This position is Monday - Friday, daytime hours (flexible on start and stop times). While this is predominantly a remote position, you must live in Washington state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as senior EHR system administrator for advanced configuration, optimization, and reporting functionality.
  • Oversee complex EHR build components including form logic, embedded documentation workflows, and structured data capture.
  • Ensure data integrity, data governance standards, and system-wide consistency in EHR & reporting practices.
  • Design, develop, and maintain intricate multi-page dashboards to support quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and operational monitoring.
  • Build automated reporting solutions using EHR data and other agency data sources.
  • Translate clinical, operational, and financial requirements into actionable data visualizations and reporting tools.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, reporting standards, and dashboard governance processes.
  • Conduct data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Partner with leadership to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcome metrics.

Essential Qualifications:

  • BA Degree required; advanced degree in information systems, data analytics, public health, or related field preferred.
  • Extensive experience with electronic health record systems required.
  • Experience developing dashboards and business intelligence reporting tools required.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Project management experience required.
