We are looking for a versatile BI Developer with strong technical expertise across multiple domains, comfortable working within Agile methodologies. This role requires a professional adept at blending software engineering, dashboard development, and cutting-edge areas like AI and Cloud technologies.
Our Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate is someone with a strong core Python foundation, high learning agility, and curiosity, rather than just a fixed checklist of years on a single tool. They are looking to expand their software development experience but genuinely care about building impactful data products. They care deeply about the "why" behind the code, constantly checking why a tool is necessary, why an architectural choice is better, and how their work impacts the end user. They are proactive, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and eager to pivot between building a new library and maintaining a legacy data pipeline.
What We Are Not Looking ForConversely, we are not looking for traditional data analysts whose primary focus or interest lies in building standard dashboards or conducting business analysis. The wrong fit for this role is a rigid specialist or a surface-level scripter who prefers to stay strictly within a single solution, requires hyper-detailed instructions, and blindly clears tickets without questioning if the solution actually makes sense or if there is a better way to build it.
Key responsibilities include:
Streamlit & Library DevelopmentDesign and develop an internal Python library to streamline and standardize Streamlit application development across the organization.
Create reusable UI components, layout templates, and streamlined AI/LLM wrappers within the library to empower internal teams to build data apps quickly.
Enforce software development best practices, including robust version control, package distribution, documentation, and automated testing for the internal framework.
Support and update legacy dashboards built in Tableau and Looker as needed.
Ensure the stability and uptime of current data systems while transitioning relevant workloads toward Streamlit-based tools.
Help the dbt team define scopes and requirements to update existing data pipelines built in DBT.
