Equifax is seeking a skilled and high-energy Business Intelligence Developer to join our Collections BI Team. What you'll do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and workflows using BigQuery and Airflow to support the AR Data Model.
Create and manage interactive, high-impact dashboards in Looker Studio, providing actionable insights for the Collections team, supervisors, and managers.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data modeling, transformation, and reporting within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
Manage version control and collaborate on code development using Git and GitHub, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.
Monitor the health and performance of data pipelines and dashboards, troubleshooting issues to maintain operational excellence.
Partner with the Collections team to resolve data inquiries and implement innovative solutions that drive collections efficiency.
What experience do you need
English proficiency at B2 level or above.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Software Development: 1–2 years of experience in a developer role, with specific proficiency in JavaScript to maintain and scale Google Apps Script integrations.
Data Engineering & SQL: 2 years of experience in data modeling and transformation using cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift.
Version Control: Mandatory hands-on experience using Git and GitHub for codebase management and team collaboration.
What could set you apart
Data Visualization: 2 years of experience using Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau to build intuitive dashboards and reports.
Automation: Experience using Python for scripting and workflow automation.
Google Cloud Platform experience.
JS Frameworks: Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks to support advanced Google Apps Script integrations.
Query Optimization: Proven ability to refine SQL for peak performance and cloud cost reduction.
Finance Domain: Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR), Collections, or general financial operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
