We are seeking a highly skilled Senior -Business Intelligence and Analytics Specialist to join our Customer Solutions Team. This role will focus on building intelligent dashboards, automating reporting workflows, and leveraging data insights to enhance decision-making for both internal stakeholders and external customers. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong business acumen and a passion for innovation through data and technology solutions. This role designs and develops Business Intelligence and Analytics workflows and datasets to support high-impact customer facing solutions, new product development, business analytics, process efficiencies and automation. This position does not directly supervise others but is responsible for driving results across cross functional teams and coaching on best use of models and processes.


Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000 / annually

 

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities
  • Leads design, development, deployment, and support 
    • Sustainable/automated BI, reporting and analytics solutions such as dashboards (Tableau /power BI), scorecards, KPI, and various other forms of data visualization and delivery for customer performance, financial, and operational insights.
    • Leverage data, dimensional modelling to translate insights into actionable strategies and establish best practice for Data Quality and governance.
    • Database and data storage solutions, including writing and tuning ETL logic
  • Develop digital workflows, automations for client onboarding, issue resolutions, manual workflows, and reporting using tools such as Power Automate, Alteryx, UiPath, or similar platforms.
  • Collaborates strongly with Product, Business and other technology teams to ensure quality delivery.
  • Proactively anticipates internal/external customer needs and uses customer insight for development of new solutions and offerings. 
  • Synthesize technical and business information and use to communicate to internal and external technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Responsible for requirement elicitation from teams, understanding and translating complex, high-visibility customer and business needs to technical requirements. 
  • Serves as a strategic technical partner to build, grow and maintain effective technology solutions for customer operations department. 
  • Upgrade and improve data and application schema, preparing design documents and functional specifications.
  • Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and visualization consistency across platforms.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes, workflows to digitize and improve efficiency and timeliness.
  • Learn & use artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to identify emerging trends, anomalies, and patterns in customer and financial data.
  • Mentor and coach team on technology & innovative solutions.
  • Other job duties will be assigned as per evolving business needs.
Qualifications

Required Work Experience: 

  • 5+ years recent progressive data related experience including Data Analytics, Data Profiling and Data Management.
  • 1+ years of workflow and API development and integrations using tools like Alteryx.
  • Strong demonstrated experience in Tableau/Power BI for dashboard creation and visual data storytelling, data visualization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and ETL processes
  • 1-2 years of healthcare industry experience
  • Proficient in Excel

Preferred Work Experience: 

  • Experience in project management or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Exposure to AI/ML techniques for predictive analytics and trend detection is a plus.
  • Quest Diagnostics Experience is preferred to understand business acumen regarding lab diagnostics data, financial data, revenue cycle/billing data.
  • Experience in work automation tools like Power Automate, UiPath is a plus
  • Master's Degree (Preferred)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Healthcare, Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering or a related field

Travel requirements:

  • 10% travel is estimated to Hub Locations: Wood Dale, IL; Lenexa, KS; Denver, CO; Cincinnati, OH; St. Louis, MO.
