In this role as a BI Analyst, you will report to the Senior Analytics Manager, and will be primarily responsible for integrating data storage, data query tools, scripting language(s) and data visualization (PowerBI and Tableau) to provide business leaders with visibility and data-driven decision-making support in the Procurement and Supply Chain domain. As a member of the SPPD Business Insights team, you will need to have a growth mindset, promote continuous improvement, and help build a defect-free culture. • For the first 6 - 18 months in this role you will support a critical, high profile modeling project by testing, troubleshooting, and resolving data issues.
• Over time, you will develop subject matter expertise in the Supply Chain and Procurement data domains.
• Once you have honed your skills, you will lead requirements definition and scoping of data analyses; independently execute data gathering, create appropriate data models and visualizations to support business decisions, and present business insights to management.

Bachelor's degree

: • Collects required business data through various data sources. • Utilizes designated data analysis software (both internal and external) to analyze business data. • Investigates data requirements in the business data analysis process. • Applies data analysis and data modeling techniques to establish, modify, and maintain business data structures and associated components. • Writes analysis reports to assist decision making at the senior level.
: • Defines, creates and tests simple queries by using associated command language in a specific environment. • Applies appropriate query tools used to connect to the data warehouse. • Obtains and analyzes query access path information and query results. • Employs tested query statements to retrieve, insert, update and delete information. • Works with advanced features and functions including sorting, filtering and making simple calculations.
: • Approaches a situation or problem by defining the problem or issue and determining its significance. • Makes a systematic comparison of two or more alternative solutions. • Uses flow charts, Pareto charts, fish diagrams, etc. to disclose meaningful data patterns. • Identifies the major forces, events and people impacting and impacted by the situation at hand. • Uses logic and intuition to make inferences about the meaning of the data and arrive at conclusions.

The primary location for this position is Mossville, IL.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
This position will require less than 10% travel.
