CSCS TXEssential Job Duties:
- Act as a business intelligence partner for the Finance Department and support projects and change management initiatives across key project owners (IT, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, etc.).
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, data models, and Snowflake-based solutions to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex BI solutions, including data models in Microsoft SSAS, Microsoft Fabric semantic Models, Excel Power Pivot, and Snowflake.
- Create and maintain reporting tools, troubleshoot improvement opportunities, and process change requests as needed.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and transformation needs across the organization.
- Manage financial tools, financial reporting, and data analytics systems while ensuring governance, security, consistency, integrity, and accuracy of all end-user data.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of data tools and resources.
- Participate in system maintenance, upgrades, and integration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Education, Experience, and Skills for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Master’s degree in computer science, MSBA, MBA, MIS, or PhD is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on SQL, Data Modeling, and Snowflake.
- Proficiency in systems and methodologies for accessing and utilizing underlying data, including database implementation and normalization, data warehousing, ETL processes, data analytics, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of database objects (tables, views, indexes, etc.), and experience in implementing and optimizing queries, stored procedures, and functions to meet performance objectives and business use cases.
- Experience with DAX / data modeling with SSAS Tabular, Microsoft Fabric semantic models and/or database design.
- Expertise in ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, and ADF, and expertise in cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- Understanding Finance, Operations methodologies, concepts, principles, and modeling is a plus.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with teammates and all management levels.

- Creative thinker, highly driven, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable in a high-growth and strong customer service environment.
- Minimal travel required (< 10%).

Skills Required
