The Role
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of business intelligence solutions that enable deeper insight into performance, audiences, and business outcomes. The ideal candidate will contribute to the creation of Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting workflows, while helping to automate and scale repeatable analytics processes. This role will partner closely with managers and cross-functional teams to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support client work, internal reporting, and growth initiatives. The analyst will also assist in exploring new tools, data sources, and methodologies, contributing to reusable analytics assets and helping advance the team’s data-driven capabilities.
Responsibilities
Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports
Assist with data cleaning, entry, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
Build and update Power Query (M code) transformations for data preparation
Write and maintain DAX measures to support reporting and analysis
Help connect, filter, and manage multiple datasets across reports
Support data modeling and mapping efforts across business use cases
Assist in designing intuitive UI/UX for dashboards, ensuring clarity for end users
Partner with senior team members to help translate data into insights for internal stakeholders
Document processes, assumptions, and data definitions as needed
Qualifications
Working knowledge of Power BI, including:
Power Query (M)
DAX
Dataset connections
Filtering and parameters
Power BI Service fundamentals
2+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or a related function
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with raw data
Ability to explain data and findings clearly to non-technical audiences
Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques
Proficiency in Excel
Bachelor of Science Degree Preferred
Location
This role will be located in our Los Angeles office. The Brand Consulting department offers a flexible work schedule and requires a minimum three days per week on-site.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $80,000 to $90,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
