As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team.
The Financial Analyst will guide the businesses in improving and creating processes, products, and applications through data analysis. They will be heavily involved in providing foresight into financial impacts of decisions made, evaluating the performance of current business elements, and forecasting future performance of the business.
This individual must be able to clearly communicate complex ideas, strategies, and system requirements to both technical and non-technical users in order to define and prioritize architectural needs to support the business as well as create visual analyses to empower all levels of the company to make intelligent business decisions.
Your Impact:
- Manage the annual budget process for operating and reinsurance companies
- Analyze and ensure financial results are accurately and properly recorded on a routine basis
- Work with department leadership to ensure that monthly financial results are understood, report and understand detail related to performance, and assist leadership in achieving monthly and annual financial goals
- Analyze all out-of-goal performance to identify requirements to get performance back to goal
- Submit monthly claims and sales data to underwriting partners
- Evaluate, understand, and analyze all underwriting data and performance
- Collaborate with underwriters and manage underwriting reporting which includes cession statements and profit share statements to dealers
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in related field strongly preferred
- 3 to 5 years’ experience working with multi-level teams, preferably in a high-workload team environment
- Project Management experience and/or certification preferred
- Advanced data manipulation and analysis within Microsoft Excel
- Advanced understanding of BI tools (preferably Power BI)
