Job Summary:

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing data to generate insights that support commercial and operational decision-making across Everyday Goods Retail division. The role focuses on collecting, validating, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to improve assortment effectiveness, sales performance, store productivity, shelf availability, and overall business efficiency. The incumbent will develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models to enable stakeholders to monitor performance, identify trends, solve business issues, and drive data-led decisions aligned with organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support reporting and business decision-making.

• Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance trackers for commercial and operational teams.

• Monitor key KPIs related to sales, inventory, assortment, shelf availability, and store productivity.

• Conduct root cause analysis to identify performance gaps, data issues, and improvement opportunities.

• Support sales forecasting, assortment optimization, and inventory-related analysis through data-driven insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend analytical solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned by management as necessary to support business needs.

Functional / Technical Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Knowledge of dashboard development, data visualization, and management reporting.

Understanding of retail / FMCG KPIs such as sales, inventory, assortment, and store productivity.

Familiarity with ERP / SAP systems and database management concepts.

Strong attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau)
  • Knowledge of dashboard development, data visualization, and management reporting
  • Understanding of retail/FMCG KPIs (sales, inventory, assortment, store productivity)
