What can you expect in a “Business Intelligence Analyst” role with TaskUs:
TaskUs is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst with expertise in transforming data into insight within the social science field. A successful candidate has experience in working with sensitive data, will provide significant insights in study design and data analysis that matches the research objectives. This role requires the capability to transform and analyze large and complex datasets generated from multiple sources that result in identification of trends that solve real world problems that inform and change the industry.
Responsibilities
- You will collaborate with behavioral scientists to support wellness research aligned with ethical and data privacy standards.
- Your role covers the full reporting pipeline from data validation to visualization with a strong focus on sensitive wellness data.
- While the role follows standard working hours, occasional flexibility may be needed to support global initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- At least 2 years hands-on experience in Power BI or other foundational Power BI applications such as Power Pivot. Same length of experience in Tableau, Qlikview, Business Objects can be considered.
- At least 2 years of exposure to ETL, databases / data warehouse that relates to developing reports using Power BI.
- Programming background preferably in SQL, Python, R.
- Strong understanding of M-Query, DAX (Data Analysis Expression).
- Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the 'bigger picture'.
- Proficiency in exploratory data analysis and data visualization.

Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences, or client engagements, as per business needs.
