We’re looking for a passionate “Business Improvement Manager" for our Adriatic Region.
Who you are
You enjoy the continuous improvement of processes and are happy to take responsibility for the development and implementation of these in operational processes with the aim of making them as efficient as possible.
You will critically question existing processes of action and their impact on the overall organization and advise on cross-departmental synergy effects. With your extensive experience in supervising change projects, you make a valuable contribution to making working with our customers even easier.
With your persuasiveness and moderation skills, you can bring project teams to peak performance and provide them with methodical support in project implementation.

What about the job
In your role you will:
- Support the concrete implementation of the change measures and work in close cooperation with interfaces in all divisions, shared service, communication and HR
- Implement and analyze KPIs, possible improvement potentials in a fast-moving environment in order to identify and understand potentials and derive action plans. In this context, you know how to drive Problem Resolution Processes, with high focus in basic techniques like DMAIC.
- Lead and support change projects, plan and schedule work packages together with departments and managers as well as individual project teams.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and attention to inefficient work arounds by building skills within Alfa Laval Adriatic (e.g. lean training courses, Kaizen events, coaching of superiors and project managers) and as a mediator of change
- Monitor results, track deadlines and priorities of the organization's project portfolio, and ensure effective communication on changes within project teams and within Alfa Laval Adriatic
- Carry out process analyses, actively exchange ideas with other organizations and departments and drive the implementation and efficiency increase of processes
What you know
You have:
- Coaching and moderation skills as well as qualification are fundamental approaching people and work processes
- A Technical education study (master’s degree, business administration, industrial engineer or similar will be a plus)
- Analytical and conceptual skills paired with a customer-oriented mindset in order to understand business requirements, advise and help shape solutions and communicate results comprehensively according to Lean - Six Sigma, where at least Green Belt certification is a highly preferred qualification.
- Strong background in process, project management and execution with the ability to understand, present and develop work processes in the overall organizational context
- Experienced approach and optimistic mentality in the change management process
- Fluent in English
At Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your total compensation package. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The starting base salary for this role is 45.000€, CCNL METALWORKING.
