Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Director to lead the enterprise User Acceptance Testing (UAT) function. This role is accountable for end-to-end UAT strategy, governance, and execution supporting mission-critical payment platforms and transformation initiatives. The leader will centralize UAT across global teams and ensure delivery readiness, quality, and regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will:
- Lead enterprise UAT strategy, governance, and execution across Payments Operations
- Own end-to-end testing for critical payment platforms (ACH, Wire, RTP)
- Establish UAT standards, operating model, and risk framework
- Oversee defect lifecycle management, prioritization, and resolution strategy
- Provide executive reporting on readiness, risks, and delivery performance
- Partner with Operations, Product, and Technology leadership to align delivery priorities
- Manage global team (~100 FTE), including managers and individual contributors
- Ensure regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and quality outcomes
- Operates with high autonomy and executive judgment
- Influences enterprise decisions impacting risk and delivery
- Represents UAT in executive, audit, and regulatory forums
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization initiatives
- 10+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- 10+ years in testing, QA, or technology delivery
- 5+ years leadership experience in large, matrixed organizations
- Large scale transformation experience
- Experience leading UAT for complex, enterprise initiatives
- Strong knowledge of payment systems (ACH, Wire, RTP)
- Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
