BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – JOB DESCRIPTION
FMC Agricultural Solutions SAU is looking for a Business Development in Valencia area (Spain) reporting to the Business Development Manager.
Primary responsibilities:
- Participate in the design of promotional programs and coordinates their implementation with key wholesalers, retailers and distributors.
- Identify, contact and support big farms, cooperatives and key wholesalers.
- Transfer and add value to FMC technology to customers.
- Identify market gaps, shortcomings and possible areas for improvement throughout the Company's market access channel, proposing specific actions to the Sales and Marketing Departments.
- Develop Marketing Intelligence actions in your area of influence.
- Management of agronomic claims.
- You must be able to attend to the assigned areas, prioritizing the products and key customers previously defined together with the management.
- You will report to the Country Leader and will be coordinated with the Product Managers and Sales Representatives in this area, establishing and implementing the strategies by common agreement.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in agronomy.
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the pesticide sector.
- Travel is required to attend to the responsibilities of this area of work.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers.
- Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills.
