Job Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team. This position will work closely with sales members/Producers to assist with prospecting leads for potential clients, as well as leverage data to uncover sales opportunities.

This position will help to align and track marketing campaigns for Program business as well as deliver reporting to sales leadership for execution on strategy.

Job Requirements

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A valid Property & Casualty insurance broker’s license (A Plus)

  • Superior time management skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

  • Experience working with multiple insurance carriers

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Given the responsibilities of this position, HUB is offering a compensation structure of base pay + commission. The expected base pay range for this position is $65,000 to $x70,000 a year and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. In addition, this position is eligible for commission, which will be wholly derived from the successful candidate’s closed sales transactions.  The commission structure varies by scope of work and book of business. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits such as vacation, sick, personal, floating holidays and company holidays. In addition, eligible annual bonuses, equity and commissions may be available for some positions.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
