We're looking for an ambitious, curious, and driven Business Development Representative to join our growing Sales team in Greece.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a key role in building Orca AI's future customer base.

  • Identify and engage potential customers through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels.
  • Research shipping companies and decision-makers across global markets.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and generate high-quality sales opportunities.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects.
  • Work closely with our Account Executives to create and develop new business opportunities.
  • Continuously learn about our product, customers, and the maritime industry.
  • Represent Orca AI at industry conferences and customer events across Europe and occasionally internationally.
  • Be part of a fast-growing global sales organization where your impact is visible from day one.
Requirements
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
  • A recent graduate or university student looking to start a career in technology sales.
  • Someone with up to one year of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or business development.
  • Curious, ambitious, and highly motivated to succeed.
  • Comfortable talking to new people and building relationships.
  • Resilient, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity where you can grow into future sales roles.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with outbound sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, or business development.
  • Experience using LinkedIn, CRM systems, or sales tools.
  • Interest in AI, SaaS, or the maritime industry.

Skills Required

  • 2+ years experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role at a B2B software/SaaS company.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques including cold calls and cold outreach.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales quotas.
  • Good understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to perform well in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally within a team-oriented environment.
  • High-energy written and interpersonal communication skills; team player.
  • Experience within the Maritime sector.
  • Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or AI products.
