Role Summary
The Business Development Representative will report to the Director of Sales and is responsible for expanding Greentank’s customer base within the vaporization marketplace. The incumbent will accomplish this by identifying prospective customers and by initiating a client relationship.
Role Responsibilities
- Support the entire sales organization with qualifying prospects, booking discovery meetings, trade show presence and any other sales related business
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Establish creative outreach and prospecting campaigns that help increase meeting conversions
- Present new products and services to prospects, highlighting any new pricing and payment plans
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products and services
- Take initiative in analyzing existing processes and suggest improvement recommendations to management
- Present Greentank Technologies Corp. as a professional, trusted brand to potential clients
- Other duties, as assigned
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Formal Education or Equivalent
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience related to business management
Years of Experience
- One (1) to three (3) years in a professional environment
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Account Executive or similar role is a strong asset

Specialized skills, knowledge, or certifications unique to this role
- Cannabis industry experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) & various sales tech stacks (Gong, Salesloft, etc.) is considered an asset
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) is considered a strong asset
