POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are the first point of contact for prospective customers and are vital contributors to growth and pipeline. We are searching for a highly motivated, data-driven Sales Development Representative with strong inter-personal communications skills, a desire to learn and grow, and a natural desire to win.
This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting high-growth startup in a hot space and make a huge impact on Ionix's growth and success. The role reports to the Head of Global Sales Development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospect into accounts within your territory and approach leads to qualify for your Enterprise Sales counterpart.
- Research accounts to identify the right personas including decision-makers and internal champions at target prospects
- Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting activities and inbound lead follow-up.
- Scout and engage in all required formats and mediums (field events, Email, call, LinkedIn) to build a viable pipeline with well qualified sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine outreach strategies and ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Utilize Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, Hubspot, ZoomInfo and other tools, to research, generate and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Conduct high level conversations with mid and senior level executives in the cyber security space.
- Maintain up to date top of funnel data integrity
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong familiarization with Hubspot, Salesforce, dialer apps (e.g. Nooks, Orum), enrichment apps (e.g. ZoomInfo, Apollo, Lusha)
- 2+ years’ experience as an SDR/BDR, or inside sales professionals in a B2B SaaS cyber company.
- Monday - Friday, three days in the office
- Speed and grit, self-driven and results oriented
- Work with ongoing coaching and role plays (F2F & AI Based)
- Experience in cold calling and generating new leads
- Experience in events working closely with Sales to generate new business on-site
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and self-starting environment leveraging your creativity, insight, and intellect.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Motivated, organized, punctual, high energy team player with attention to detail.
