Business Development Representative, IndustrialPosition Purpose

The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the Industrial market nationwide.  This role requires strong relationship-building skills and knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems with a background in sales or networking to include an understanding of industrial facilities planning and the A/E industry.  This position will office in our Little Rock, Arkansas headquarters.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on the growth and expansion of the local and national industrial market.
  • Initiate contact with decision-makers such as C-Suite executives, facility directors and maintenance managers.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and general contractors to position the firm for future opportunities.
  • Identify upcoming projects, RFPs, and partnership opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, trade shows and networking functions to expand the firm’s visibility.
  • Track and report on business development activities, project pipeline, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, engineering) to develop compelling proposals and presentations
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Travel: 50%

      Qualifications / Prior Experience
      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
      • 5+ years’ experience in business development, preferably within the A/E industry.
      • Proven track record of securing and managing client relationships and contracts.
      • Familiarity with design and construction processes.
      • Experience with CRM tools and proposal development platforms.

          Skills Required
