Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Business Development Representative I-III based at our Greenville, NC location.
What you will do:
Identify, research, and engage prospective customers through phone, email, social media, and other outreach methods to generate qualified sales opportunities and build a healthy pipeline.
Qualify leads by understanding customer needs, business goals, and potential fit, then coordinate a seamless handoff of sales-ready opportunities to the sales team.
Execute targeted business development and marketing campaigns in partnership with sales, marketing, and business development teams to increase customer engagement and demand generation.
Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in CRM systems, track activity, and leverage data and market insights to prioritize outreach efforts and identify new opportunities.
Level II & III: Analyze target accounts and market segments to develop strategic prospecting plans and maximize opportunity generation.
Level III: Provide guidance, mentorship, and best-practice sharing to support the development of less experienced team members.

What you will need:
Level I:
Bachelor's degree with 0-1 years of experience in customer relationship management, sales, marketing, or a related field
Associate degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience
4 or more years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Level II:
Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience in customer relationship management, sales, marketing, or a related field
Associate degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
5 or more years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Level III:
Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience in customer relationship management, sales, marketing, or a related field
Associate degree with 5 or more years of relevant experience
7 or more years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Ability to analyze sales, customer, and market data to identify opportunities and prioritize outreach efforts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage prospective customers and internal stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong relationship-building and prospecting skills, with the ability to establish credibility, foster customer connections, and generate qualified business opportunities.
Level III: Advanced proficiency with Salesforce and/or sales engagement platforms, with the ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members.
