The Position

Purpose of the Job:

A dynamic and results-driven business development executive manages and develops relationships and engagements with our business partners (i.e. distributors, dealers). The role will be responsible for driving sales growth through business partners, ensuring excellent customer service, and fostering long-term partnerships. This role requires strategic account management skills, a deep understanding of the market, and the ability to align activities with the company’s objectives.

Role Specific Accountabilities:

Strategic Account Management

  • Cultivate and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with business partners.

  • Serve as the key contact for assigned accounts, ensuring seamless communication.

  • Conduct regular business review meetings to evaluate performance and uncover growth opportunities.

Driving Sales and Business Growth:

  • Develop and execute robust sales strategies to exceed targets for business partner accounts.

  • Monitor and optimize business partner performance, offering support to achieve shared goals.

  • Onboard new business partners to expand market influence and reach.

Partner Enablement and Engagement:

  • Deliver training, tools, and insights to empower business partners and boost effectiveness.

  • Conduct joint customer visits to deepen engagement and enhance partner relationships.

  • Resolve partner concerns promptly, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.

  • Equip partners with the knowledge and resources to represent our brand and products with excellence

Market Insights and Strategic Collaboration:

  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive dynamics, and partner feedback to inform business strategies.

  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance) to align partner initiatives with broader company goals.

  • Collaboration and well organized for instrument placement, training, repairing, retaining, KAM and PIPO with postsales support team.

Performance Reporting and Continuous Improvement:

  • Generate insightful reports on sales performance including in-market sales performance, market conditions, and partner engagement.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, address challenges, and capitalize on opportunities.

Compliance and Governance in Business Partner Management:

  • Ensure all business partner activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

  • Monitor and support in pre-/post- audit process including following up on CAPA completion to uphold ethical standards and avoid non-compliance risks.

  • Provide guidance to business partners on compliance-related matters, ensuring alignment with company values and standards.

  • Act swiftly to address any compliance issues, collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement corrective actions.

Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience and Competencies:

  • Good understanding of Thailand & Indochina Medical Device/Diagnostics Business Partners

  • Experience in interacting with or developing business partners with the healthcare or diagnostics market

  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.

  • Having knowledge of distribution management, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with business partners.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional and matrix environment for both internal and external organization. 

 

Industry Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in the diagnostics or healthcare industry, with a focus on Sales Channel Management.

  • A proficient language skill in Thai and conversational level of spoken and written English

  • Knowledge of the diagnostics market in Thailand and Indochina is highly appreciated.
