What your impact will look like:
- Generate new business opportunities within the New Zealand market through a combination of outbound calling, emailing
- Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries, and opportunities generated by attending company events and webinars
- Manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to close and communicate any challenges or wins to the team
- Gain an understanding of the prospective customer's pain points and educate on Granicus' value
- Highlight our differentiators, effectively demoing the product over video conference, and guiding them through the sales process
- Confidently run product demos for decision-makers of companies varying across all levels of Government.
- Work closely with team members to achieve sales goals and work collaboratively with our Product Team and Customer Success Team to support and set expectations for customers.
- Travel within your territory to visit prospects and attend industry events as required
You will love this role if you have:
- Minimum five years of directly relevant professional experience in business development, account and relationship management
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Previous experience working with SaaS and subscription-based contracting mechanisms and sales processes
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) and / or the digital services and platforms industry
