A consulting firm that partners with growing companies to design and implement
scalable training, onboarding, and leadership development programs. Her work
focuses on helping organizations:
Improve employee performance and retention
Build effective onboarding systems
Develop leadership pipelines
Solve operational and people-related challenges
Target clients are mid-sized organizations (100–600 employees), primarily
engaging with:
HR Leaders
Talent Development Professionals
Organizational Leadership
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled, strategic, and proactive Business
Development VA who can build and execute a lead generation system from scratch.
This is not a basic VA role — the client is specifically
seeking someone who:
Thinks like a marketer
Acts like a business partner
Can recommend strategy (not just execute tasks)
The primary goal is to:
Generate qualified leads and book meetings directly into the client’s calendar
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & ProspectingConduct in-depth market research to identify ideal companies (100–600 employees)Build targeted lead lists focused on:HR leadersTalent development teamsDecision-makersSource accurate contact details (email, LinkedIn, phone when possible)
- Outreach Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns, including:LinkedIn outreachEmail campaigns(Optional) cold calling if neededPersonalize messaging based on target audienceContinuously test and improve outreach strategies (A/B testing mindset)
- CRM & Systems SetupRecommend and help implement a CRM system such as:HubSpot orGoHighLevelBuild and manage:Lead pipelinesContact databasesFollow-up workflowsEnsure all outreach and leads are properly tracked and organized
- Follow-ups & NurturingCreate structured follow-up sequencesMaintain consistent communication cadence with leadsOptimize messaging based on engagement and response
- Appointment SettingQualify leads and book meetings directly into the client’s calendarCoordinate scheduling using the client’s booking system
- Strategy & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze performance of outreach effortsRecommend improvements to:MessagingTargetingChannelsAct as a strategic partner, not just a task executor
Expected Deliverables (Initial Phase)
CRM system setup (or recommendation + initial build)
Initial lead database (built from scratch)
Outreach messaging templates
Active outreach campaigns
Booked discovery calls/meetings
Tools & Systems (Preferred but Flexible)
CRM: HubSpot or GoHighLevel
LinkedIn Sales Navigator (preferred)
Email outreach tools (e.g., Instantly, Apollo, etc.)
Lead sourcing tools (for emails, phone numbers, etc.)
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
Strong background in B2B lead generation & outreach
Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, GHL, or similar)
Market research & data sourcing skills
Email marketing & campaign execution
Copywriting for outreach (high-converting messaging)
Strategic Capabilities
Ability to build systems from scratch
Strong understanding of sales funnels & pipelines
Experience targeting mid-sized companies and corporate decision-makers
Soft Skills / Personality Fit
Proactive and self-starter
Highly collaborative (team mindset, not hierarchical)
Confident communicator (not timid)
Creative thinker & problem-solver
Goal-oriented and results-driven

Work Setup
Flexible schedule, but initially aligned with CST (client’s time zone)

Important Notes from Client
This role is a priority hire focused on revenue generation
Client is open to guidance and recommendations from the VA
Looking for a long-term team member, not just short-term support
Previous outreach efforts were ineffective → expects improved strategy
VA may need to educate and guide client on best marketing approaches
Engagement Structure
Trial Phase
Short-term package 10 hrs (7-day duration)
Focus: testing fit, initial setup, and execution
Ongoing Engagement (If Successful)
Minimum: 10 hours per week
Potential to scale:
Part-time → Full-time
