The Role

We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Brisbane. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth across our fire protection services. 

 

This is a key position within the business, working closely with leadership and internal teams to support strategic growth initiatives while promoting FSQ’s capabilities across the market.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth 
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across FSQ service lines
  • Engaging with potential customers to promote company services and capabilities 
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met and service delivery is seamless 
  • Supporting the implementation and monitoring of business strategies across the organisation 
  • Preparing, managing, and maintaining accurate documentation and records 
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service
  • Representing the business professionally and promoting FSQ within the market
  • Maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality management systems 

 

Your Skills, Experience & Attributes

  • Proven experience in a business development, sales, or account management role (3+ years preferred) 
  • Strong ability to build relationships and understand customer needs 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team 
  • High level of computer literacy and administrative capability 
  • Professional presentation and strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and results-driven mindset
  • Full working rights in Australia (essential)
