About the Role

A successful Business Development professional in this role must aggressively pursue new customer and application opportunities while continuously strengthening relationships within the territory. They must move quickly and strategically—delivering compelling presentations and proposals, maintaining an accurate and active pipeline, and driving opportunities from initial contact through close. By clearly communicating customer needs, overcoming objections, and ensuring seamless internal alignment, this individual plays a critical role in capturing new business and sustaining high customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and grow customer relationships within an assigned territory.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations aligned with company pricing and sales policies.
  • Identify and pursue new customer and application opportunities through proactive outreach and market research.
  • Clearly communicate customer needs to internal teams to support effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update the CRM to support planning and execution.
  • Provide monthly forecasts and pipeline updates for assigned accounts.
  • Assess customer needs, define system requirements, and collaborate with estimating to develop complete proposals—including solution details, specifications, terms, and exclusions.
  • Follow up diligently to address objections, support customers, and secure orders.
  • Resolve customer issues, including operational concerns, to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Uphold the company’s safety-first culture and complete required safety training.
