JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
We are seeking an BD Manager to drive growth in our Power segments. The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise in epoxy insulation components, mechanical engineering, and power systems to capture high-value opportunities while fostering cross-functional collaboration to support global key accounts (GKA).
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development in Power
- Market Expansion: Identify and secure BD opportunities in Power Industries through thorough market analysis, effective pipeline management, and strategic contract negotiations
- Technical Sales: Drive complex projects in epoxy insulation components and condenser bushing systems, providing technical support to clients
- Client Relationship Management: Build multi-tier client partnerships through strategic negotiation, operational coordination, and technical collaboration
2. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with R&D, Operations, and Finance to align resources for global key accounts (GKA)
- Advocacy & Communication: Present business cases to senior stakeholders to secure buy-in for strategic initiatives
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years in BD/technical sales within power systems, mining, or heavy machinery industries.
- Technical Competencies: understanding of MV/LV electrical components, epoxy insulation technologies, and industrial manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce), ERP (SAP), and data analytics / visualization (Power BI) tools.
- Soft Skills:
