This role is about driving market expansion, particularly within the Department of Defense, and building a predictable, diversified pipeline that fuels the Firm’s next stage of growth.

If you’re comfortable operating in front of senior decision-makers, influencing prime contractors, and positioning months (or years) ahead of procurement, you will thrive here.

Your Mission

  • Expand aggressively into DOD markets, targeting 50–60% of new revenue growth.
  • Strengthen and protect our existing federal client base.
  • Open new doors in state, local municipalities, and academic sectors.
  • Build strategic teaming relationships that increase win probability.
  • Shift the firm from reactive RFP responses to proactive opportunity shaping.

Qulaifications

  • 5–12+ years of business development experience in architecture, planning, engineering, or related professional services.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal procurement, especially DOD.
  • Experience with capture strategy and positioning.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of building teaming relationships.
  • Comfort operating in a small, entrepreneurial firm where execution matters.
