We are looking for a high-impact Sales & Business Development Leader to drive FLSmidth’s growth in Uzbekistan. This is a strategic role focused on expanding our presence by identifying new business opportunities, deepening relationships with key stakeholders, and building tailored, value-driven solutions that de-risk mining operations and support sustainability goals.

You’ll be the face of FLSmidth in Uzbekistan — a trusted advisor, market strategist, and growth catalyst.

What You’ll Do:

Lead Market Growth

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for Uzbekistan

  • Identify and penetrate new accounts while expanding existing customer partnerships

Build Strategic Relationships

  • Establish trust-based relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers

  • Become a partner of choice by deeply understanding customer challenges and aligning them with FLSmidth solutions

Drive Commercial Success

  • Own the sales pipeline and deliver results against ambitious growth targets

  • Develop complex, consultative sales proposals and lead negotiations from first contact to contract

Stay Ahead of the Curve

  • Gather market intelligence and monitor regional trends to inform proactive decision-making

  • Attend industry events, represent FLSmidth locally, and report back on opportunities and competitive insights

Collaborate & Execute

  • Work hand-in-hand with global teams, technical specialists, and service delivery to ensure solution alignment and successful implementation

  • Operate effectively in a matrix environment, managing cross-functional priorities and customer outcomes

What You Bring:
  • Proven track record in business development or sales leadership, ideally in industrial B2B sectors like mining, mineral processing, or heavy equipment

  • Strong local market knowledge of Uzbekistan’s mining sector and a robust professional network

  • Experience working with multinational teams and navigating complex, high-value sales cycles

  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and a strong customer-first mindset

  • Confident negotiator and communicator, fluent in both English and Russian or Uzbek

  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and self-motivated — able to work independently and lead growth in a developing market
