On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Riyadh.
Job Summary
To capitalize on
local and regional opportunities in the transportation, infrastructure,
railroads, power, and oil & gas sectors, securing new clientele and
projects for the company, while also nurturing existing relationships by
ensuring project deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Pinpoint
potential leads and prospective clients in alignment with the company’s
strategic objectives, market opportunities, and future growth directions to
maintain targeted company growth.
- Develop
client pipelines, leveraging local and regional opportunities, to close as many
deals as possible, maximizing the company’s market share and profitability.
- Initiate
tendering requests for identified opportunities, subsequently forwarding these
requests to the Commercial Director, Tendering Director, and CEO to obtain
their respective approvals.
- Compile
all project presentations and documentation, including general feature lists,
to estimate necessary financial figures and apply contingencies to these
estimations.
- Confirm
that all client prerequisites, including safety and quality plans, are in place
to kickstart the tendering phase.
- Ensure
that all financial documents are accurate, comprehensive, and readily available
for the tendering team, to facilitate a smooth and efficient tendering process.
- Facilitate
meetings with the tendering team to communicate project specifics and any
unique requirements.
- Liaise
with the Contracts team to mitigate any project risks, ensuring that any
potential issues are identified and addressed promptly.
- Attend
client meetings to address any issues related to tendering, providing
clarifications, resolving disputes, and ensuring that all client concerns are
adequately addressed.
- Analyze
market conditions to gain a competitive edge, understanding the market
dynamics, and guiding the tendering team to price competitively.
- Conduct
customer satisfaction surveys with clients to ensure their satisfaction with
current projects, promptly reporting any issues identified to management for
further corrective action.
- Maintain
and develop connections with both current and new specialized and technical
partners, to create a diverse pool of partners that can meet all client
requirements.
- Recommend
consultants with relevant project experience to the tendering team, to ensure a
more effective and proficient project execution.
- Attend regional and local RME exhibitions
representing the company, providing opportunities to network with industry
professionals, gain insights into the latest trends and technologies, and
promote the company’s services
Requirements
Education
· Bachelors of Business Administration or any relevant
studies is required
Relevant Work Experience
15+ years of relevant experience is a must.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field
- 15+ years of relevant work experience
