As a Business Development Manager for Advanced Detection at Honeywell Technologies, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's success. You will report directly to our Director of Sales, and you’ll work remotely with traveling expectations of 75% or more.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and nurture relationships of key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for end-users, architects and engineers, and authorities having jurisdiction
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth

The annual base salary range for this position in California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington State (excluding most major metropolitan areas); and anywhere in Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, and Vermont is $144,000 - $180,000. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in life safety account management or sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth
  • Strong knowledge of strategic account management and customer relationship building
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage accounts and analyze sales data effectively
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs
  • Experience in contract negotiations and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective account management
