As the Business Development Manager at Vaulted, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Waste Sourcing & Portfolio Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of organic waste streams with strong Carbon Removal Unit (CRU) ratio (>0.3) and sufficient volumes to support facility operations

  • Site Visits and Operations Oversight: Conduct frequent visits to the offsite location to monitor daily operations, ensuring that the operation is running efficiently. Address any issues in real-time to maintain productivity.

  • Local Operations Collaboration: Keep the Local Operations Manager fully informed about the status of the offsite operation, including any challenges, progress, and potential issues. Provide regular updates on key performance metrics.

· Operations Meetings: Attend daily operations meetings to report on offsite progress, collaborate with other teams, and discuss any immediate needs or concerns.

· Volume Estimation: Accurately estimate and track the volume of materials ready for shipment to the main location.

· Coordination with Crews: Work closely with the offsite teams to set daily operational goals, monitor progress, and ensure that targets are met in a timely manner.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Legal to advance opportunities from sourcing through execution

  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain clear reporting on pipeline health, conversion, risks, and key metrics for leadership visibility

  • Process Improvement: Improve and standardize business development tools, workflows, and qualification frameworks to increase speed and repeatability

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage relationships with waste generators, municipalities, and industrial partners; lead reviews and executive-level discussions as needed
