The Impact You'll Make in this RoleAs a Business Development Manager within Solventum Health Information Systems, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth across Australia and New Zealand by partnering with healthcare organisations to solve complex clinical, operational and financial challenges.
Working across our portfolio of software, SaaS, AI-enabled solutions, consulting and professional services, you will build executive relationships, develop new opportunities and lead complex sales engagements that support healthcare transformation and improved patient outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development and Growth- Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans across Australia and New Zealand.
- Identify, qualify and progress new business opportunities across public and private healthcare sectors.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of software, SaaS, AI-enabled and consulting opportunities.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales, revenue and growth objectives.
- Drive business development activities across existing customers and prospective clients.
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles involving executive, clinical, operational and procurement stakeholders.
- Develop compelling business cases and value propositions aligned with customer priorities.
- Facilitate contract negotiations, commercial discussions and procurement processes.
- Lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, tenders and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with:
- C-Suite Executives
- Healthcare leaders
- Executive Directors and Directors
- Health Information Managers
- Revenue Optimisation and Funding Leaders
- Clinical Documentation and Coding Leaders
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer priorities, challenges and long-term strategic objectives.
- Coordinate resources across sales, product management, consulting, implementation, customer success and executive leadership teams.
- Collaborate with marketing and business leaders to strengthen Solventum's market presence.
- Support development of industry engagement activities, customer forums and thought leadership initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of healthcare industry trends, digital health initiatives, funding reforms and regulatory developments.
- Monitor competitive activity and market dynamics.
- Provide market feedback to support product strategy and business planning.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Significant experience in enterprise technology, healthcare technology, healthcare consulting or related business development roles.
- Demonstrated success developing and closing complex sales opportunities.
- Experience engaging senior clinical, operational, digital health or executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial, presentation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and long sales cycles across complex customer environments.
- Experience selling healthcare software, SaaS or digital health solutions.
- Experience selling into public health systems or private healthcare providers.
- Experience leading tender and procurement opportunities.
- Existing healthcare executive relationships across Australia or New Zealand.
- Experience working with EMR, health information management, coding, clinical documentation or analytics solutions.
