New Business Acquisition
- Identify and target new business opportunities across air freight, sea freight (FCL/LCL), customs brokerage, domestic transport, and warehousing services.
- Develop and execute territory and vertical market sales strategies.

- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified logistics opportunities.

Market & Industry Development
- Identify growth sectors (e.g., FMCG, retail, automotive, industrial, project cargo).
- Monitor competitor activity, trade lane trends, and market rate movements.
- Represent the company at trade shows and logistics networking events.
- Build relationships with key importers/exporters and supply chain decision-makers.
Account Transition & Growth
- Ensure smooth onboarding and handover of new accounts to operations and account management teams.
- Maintain engagement during implementation to ensure service delivery expectations are met.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within new accounts.
- Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting in CRM.
- Provide weekly activity and performance updates.
- Track gross profit, revenue performance, and sales conversion metrics.
What You Bring:
Essential
- 3–5+ years’ experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales
- Strong knowledge of international air & sea freight operations
- Understanding of Incoterms, trade lanes, and supply chain fundamentals
- Proven record of securing new logistics accounts
- Experience in tender management and contract negotiation
- Strong commercial and pricing acumen
- CRM proficiency and structured sales methodology
Desirable
- Customs brokerage knowledge
- Existing network of importers/exporters
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain
Skills Required
