As Business Development Manager (BDM) Obesity, you are responsible for driving growth and market share within bariatric and metabolic surgery in the Netherlands.

You translate the strategic direction set by the Therapeutic Area Lead into concrete actions and results in the field. By identifying opportunities and effectively leveraging available tools, programs and propositions, you deliver sustainable growth.

In this role, you work closely with hospitals, clinics, and other stakeholders, building strong partnerships. You collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment and drive execution. With your commercial mindset and entrepreneurial approach, you make a real impact within a growing and competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the obesity strategy in the Netherlands and translate it into clear growth priorities and actionable initiatives
  • Drive growth in procedures, revenue, and market share
  • Identify and actively pursue commercial opportunities across accounts and regions
  • Leverage available tools, programs, and propositions to accelerate performance
  • Lead and support the introduction of new products and initiatives
  • Build and strengthen relationships with hospitals, clinics, and key stakeholders

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€66,100.00 - €106,605.00

Benefits:

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions. Moreover, we offer vacation days, parental leave for a minimum of 12 weeks, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well-being reimbursement, programs for financial, physical and mental health.
