Business Development Manager, Japan
Huntsman’s Advanced Materials division is now looking for Business Development Manager, Japan.
The primary function of this role is to identify new business opportunities and lead to launch these opportunities in Japan market.
This role is an individual contributor and located in Tokyo, Japan.
As the BD Manager, your responsibilities are:
- Drive incremental new growth locally in Japan by developing new business opportunities, channels and end customers
- Penetrate and secure business opportunities by offering total solution by consolidating internal resources
- Sell volume and value through providing differentiations from competition
- Lead the launch of new product and new application by coordinating with technical team and other resources
- Lead trouble shooting by coordinating technical and other resources
- Drive global new projects by coordinating with cross-country teams
- Design and lead project management progress
- Train distributors, customers and other business partners
Skills and experiences required:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in chemical engineering is preferred but not must
Experience: At least 10 years sales experience in sales and business development in downstream of chemical industry
Know-how/skills:
- Solid and strong sales or commercial background
- Working experience in new business development preferred
- Strong business knowledge in application, total solution and value selling.
- Solid project management experience and methodologies
- Business planning and presentation skills
- English communication and writing skills
