Job Description

  • This role pays between $80,000 – $100,000 USD, based on experience, plus commission.
  • Preferred to be tied to an Informa office in New York, Boston, or Fort Lauderdale.

Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional with a passion for the cutting-edge Longevity Medicine Industry? We're seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead revenue generation for our groundbreaking Global Longevity Event. This role offers a unique opportunity to:

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Identify, target, and secure high-value sponsorships from:
    • Global brands
    • Investment firms
    • Biotech companies
    • Longevity industry pioneers

Relationship Building and Networking

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including:
    • C-suite executives
    • Venture capitalists
    • Industry influencers
  • Represent the event at industry functions, conferences, and networking events

Deal Crafting and Negotiation

  • Create compelling sponsorship proposals aligned with client objectives and ROI expectations
  • Negotiate and close large-scale deals, focusing on long-term partnerships and repeat business

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing and content teams to:
    • Enhance sponsorship value
    • Maximize brand exposure for partners
    • Develop tailored packages that meet sponsor needs

Industry Intelligence

  • Stay ahead of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the longevity medicine sector

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Thrives in building relationships with C-level executives, investors, and industry pioneers
  • Has a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in events, healthcare, or technology sectors
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation skills and the ability to close high-value deals

  • Excels in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven Track Record: 4+ years of experience in B2B sponsorship sales, business development, or partnerships, preferably in high-value, international events.
  • Industry Experience: Knowledge of or experience selling to investors, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, or longevity medicine sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional networking skills with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and storytelling abilities to effectively convey value propositions.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-motivated with a drive to exceed revenue goals and contribute to long-term business success.
  • Industry Passion: Genuine interest in longevity, health optimization, and the future of medicine is a significant plus.
