Business Development Lead

As a Business Development Lead at Patlytics, you will spearhead the growth and success of our AI solutions within the legal and professional services markets. You will be responsible for prospecting, establishing, and growing relationships with law firms and mid-sized to large enterprise clients, delving into their specific needs, and presenting AI solutions that streamline their workflows and increase efficacy. Your ability to articulate the value of Patlytics’ products, coupled with your passion for groundbreaking AI technologies, will help us shape the future of IP intelligence.

You will:

  • Take charge of cultivating a named account list, overseeing the entire sales process from prospecting to close, and manage client onboarding, launch, and user expansion

  • Meet and surpass revenue targets and pivotal sales benchmarks

  • Engage closely with engineering and product teams to ensure that Patlytics’ solutions are accurately designed and optimized for our customers

  • Establish long-term, meaningful connections with key decision-makers and stakeholders, grasping their challenges and aligning Patlytics’ solutions to address their needs

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations, spotlighting the capabilities of Patlytics’ AI systems to both prospective and existing clients

  • Craft a comprehensive sales strategy/playbook that will scale, capturing valuable insights for future application across various accounts

You have:

  • Proven success in selling highly technical software solutions to enterprise clients, whilst implementing a consultative, solution-focused, and value-driven sales approach

  • Skilled in navigating complex, multi-faceted sales processes involving stakeholders ranging from top-level executives to everyday product users. Particularly skilled in translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences

  • Deeply committed to Patlytics’ mission, possessing a solid grasp of AI and its massive potential in enhancing IP intelligence. Keen interest in the legal profession, dedicated to empowering lawyers to excel in their roles more effectively and efficiently

  • Enthusiastic about prospecting, capable of independently managing a sales cycle from prospecting to close

  • A collaborative team player, adept at fostering partnerships across internal functions such as product development and legal 

  • Thrives on actively shaping our sales processes and cultivating a team-oriented sales culture. Dedicated to refining the value proposition of our solutions and creating impactful sales resources that drive our collective success
