Job Summary:

The Business Development Leader is responsible for developing and managing relationships with respective market customers within the automotive space, identifying new opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the automotive respective market.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision withing the Dealership business as it relates to Canada.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, and provide solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and generate leads and proposals for new programs and projects.
  • Create Business ROI proposals to assist the sales team close deals in a timely and profitable manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such md operations, Protex Corporate and at times, TM's to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of products and services.
  • Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to support product development and innovation.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the automotive industry.
  • 18+ years old with 2 years of driving experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive respective market, trends, and challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between 30% and 50% of the time.
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must meet insurability requirements under the company’s motor vehicle insurance policy.
