Position Summary

Join a high-impact team where your ability to build relationships, uncover opportunities, and drive growth directly influences business success. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in expanding strategic customer partnerships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and bringing innovative solutions to market. This is an opportunity for a motivated, customer-focused professional to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and vendor partners while helping shape growth strategies and delivering measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Position and promote solutions, programs, services, and strategic initiatives that drive customer success and revenue growth.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new market opportunities through proactive business development activities.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze sales, financial, marketing, and competitive data to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendor partners, and customers to develop and execute growth strategies.
  • Build business cases and recommendations for new products, services, partnerships, and market opportunities.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience. including a minimum of 3 years specific experience.
    in business development, strategic sales, account management, partner management, or related fields.
  • Experience developing customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in technology, IT distribution, channel sales, cloud, cybersecurity, software, or managed services environments.
  • Experience working with vendor partners and cross-functional business teams.
  • Proven ability to drive business growth through consultative sales and solution-based selling.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $58,000.00 - $98,600.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance. U.S.-based employees have access to healthcare benefits, paid time off, parental leave, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
