1. Business Development
- Identify and pursue new institutional business opportunities across target segments including asset managers, hedge funds, family offices, introducing brokers, and corporate entities.
- Participate in client meetings, networking events, industry conferences, and engagements to expand the firm's institutional presence and brand visibility.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives targeted at institutional prospects.
2. Institutional Strategy Execution
- Support the execution of institutional sales and business development initiatives as directed by leadership.
- Assist in implementing strategic projects designed to grow and scale the institutional business.
- Support the onboarding process for new institutional clients, ensuring documentation completeness, KYC/AML compliance, and timely account activation.
- Liaise with operations, compliance, and finance teams to streamline institutional client workflows and resolve operational issues.
3. Client Engagement & Business Intelligence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients through regular, proactive engagement.
- Understand clients' business objectives, investment needs, trading requirements, and service expectations.
- Stay informed about fintech brokerage industry developments, competitor activity, and regulatory changes that may impact institutional client needs.
4. Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work closely with internal stakeholders — including operations, compliance, legal, finance, and technology — to ensure efficient execution of client requests.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver timely, effective, and client-centric solutions.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to align institutional business development efforts with broader brand and campaign strategies.
5. Performance Management
- Achieve assigned business development and client engagement KPIs, including funded account conversions and pipeline progression targets.
- Monitor sales pipeline and business opportunities to ensure timely follow-up, accurate reporting, and deal progression.
- Maintain high standards of client service while contributing to overall team performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years in business development, marketing (including sales and remisier), or a relevant field, preferably within the financial services, investment, or technology sectors.
- Proven track record in sales support, business development, sales, or related roles, ideally within the financial services industry.
